It turns out that portal's ability to store materials that enter it applies to spark as well, allowing for compact devices that actually store spark, allowing it to be collected at any random moment.

    Oddly it doesn't work unless there is at least one empty space adjacent to the PRTO. You can use this as a simpler, more compact way of turning the power on and off, using CRAY and PSCN to spawn or remove a particle in that empty space.
