battery can be made with a conductive solid and portal in. I dont know how it works.

You might have accidentally sparked it? It can be turned off by adding nscn and sparking that, so it's not really acting as a battery. [shrug] I was curious, because odd things do happen - but so do accidental mouse-clicks ;)
