@LucasRincon true. I've seen a video of the Tsar Bomba detonating, and the bottom "tree trunk" part doesn't form till AFTER the explosion; the "leaves" (or top part of the cloud) come first. the shockwave visibly spreads wreaking destruction and havoc wherever it goes. when the bomb explodes, the "trunk" grows up to meet the "leaves." it is probably caused in a huge difference in pressure.

When a nuclear bomb is detonated, the flash itself can burn down buildings and burn people as well. The fireball does not really do much damage on its own, but the shock wave can destroy solid concrete buildings for miles. And the damage from the fallout would be devastating, as millions would get sick and die, and babies born around the area would be most likely deformed, or have other disabilities.

in every explosion its the shock-wave, thats obvious, its the whole reason they destroy things, and a nuke is just a upscaled explosion, with added side effects
