Good to see it here. I haven't been into the TPT GOL enough yet, too much other stuff to grok, distracting. I used to do crazy stuff in MCell.

nope. it was invented in the 1970's based off an idea from the 1940's. it then led to the development of cellular automata and mathematical applications of population.

@Scarking: the Game of life was invented in the 1940's by mathematician john conway. it has been around for about 70 years-anything you see on tpt has probably been done before

I don't think colliding with itself really counts, theoretically the filed should be infinite and not looping.
