Original by 12Me21. still a WIP. Can you make it better? faster? record particle type and x,y coordinate into FILT? lets see where this can go.

As many of those as possible. It'd merely connect to a readout, no automation. It'd also be ship-mounted, so I would not like DMND/WALLs or huge bits of tech. It needs to be compact but efficient. I'd say some DTEC with ELEC/PHOT and PROT emitters. I would like to see what this becomes.

thank you my friend. do you want to detect the presence of an object, its distance, or its composition?

NEUT disperses too easily, and PHOT is good but may be difficult to disperse effectively. My desired setup would be a particle emitter or two and detectors that emit sparks to a readout. I could do it, but you could make it awesome.

Hey Samdwich, congrats on not dying/getting maimed. It really brings me joy that you can still bring wonder to the Powder Toy. Could you look into a sensor assembly for me? I was thinking it would emit particles and detect reflections, like radar but with PROT/ELEC/etc. PROT would be good for analysing enemy armor, and ELEC's dispersal pattern is regular enough to be functional as a sensor.

actually pstn itself does not take 8 frames it is the conductor setup. pstn extends in 1 frame and retracts in 1 frame.

+Wigglebot yeah... the PSTN takes 8 frames to push 1 px, so subframe PSTN would be 8x faster!

I am trying to see if a subframe version of this machine will work. also, congrats on the surgery :)

so glad the operation did go well :) people like you dont deserve to end up badly

Aanndd... this is why Sandwichlizard is the one to go to if you need complex circuits that very few people can understand. I'm still trying to figure out how to make a self propelled object with PSTN without copying one of Sandwichlizard's

thanks man.
