@deadgames1 yes, it's a memory error. no, a crash doesn't mean "closing your game". game crashes are closely related to train crashes (except for the lives lost) in that it "derails" and halts. note th windows BSOD.

my game doestn crahs, it just has a blue screen saying out of memory. crashing means it will close your game on force

Umm... it only happens when multiple photons go too fast, single ones up to ~10 are stopped in place

Anyway this is a bug with loop edge mode + photons going way too fast. Probably they go so fast that their velocity is greater than the size of the screen, normally particles are killed when this happens but photons probably bypass that. Then the game tries to move them outside the edges of the screen, causing the game to crash.
