Part-4 of serious disasters. A small fire, ignited by a dropped match or cigarette became a huge firestorm within minutes, caused by the "trench-effect", killing 31 people and injured 100 more.

    Kyshtym disaster and the radioactice lake is a good disaster. Also the height of the stairs blocks how violent the trench effect can be (needs to be wider) but its still good, its an issue with the powder toys scaling

    Little note here: In a few experiments done by the TUV i've seen the trench effect on my own on a small scale a few days ago. It was amazing and creepy at the same time to see how sudden and fast those fires climbed up the stairs. Almost nothing happened a few minutes, and then it looks like the flames lay down on the the stairs and within a matter of seconds the whole thing was burning.

    @docRoboRobert: Sending down water mixed with soap under a light pressure (vent) makes it also survivable; Stickyman confirmed :-)
