Here's "The Shrimp" device, used in the "Castle" series of nuclear tests under codename "Bravo". It was the largest thermonuclear weapon ever tested by the US. Complete with data recording conduits/bunker, artificial reef and other junk I saw in pics.

    @QAPLA Miscalculations also made the direct effects of the detonation dangerous... well, they're all dangerous, but this one especially. The men near the detonation, in bunkers and such were nearly killed, as they were expecting 6-8MT of TNT, but due to lithium-7 and stuff, we got much more.

    @eli573: Hell yeah they are. The radiological accidents from this test shook the world, and kinda began the global movement towards banning atmospheric testing. The natives of the affected islands still can't go back home :/
