    A mix of Oxygen and Hydrogen is not directly Dihydrogen Monooxide (Correct my spelling please) in its gaseous form. But it is very close to it, meaning you only need to add a spark to it. ;-) As a person who witnessed this experiment quite a few times, I can confirm that it is loud, hot and bright, and indeed ends up as water vapour.

    pretty sure "oxyhydrogen gas" is just water vapor.
