The VRSG fuel lasts as long as COAL, but burns > 59% hotter, meaning it generates that much more energy, and thus making it that much more efficient than COAL. The only major drawback is that handling VRSG is extremely difficult and dangerous. Enjoy!

If only this was real life XD. +1

i already knew this

If you balance the system carefully you can make this burn forever, or switch on and off on command. It's a bit fiddly though.

Still, as you've mentioned, VRSG is extremely unstable and using a resource that may get virused is catastrophical, as well as fusion is stopped when more resources are pumped into the reator, as VRSG spreads faster that it's burned, thus eliminating the fire. However, it is a good source of Powder Toy Energy.

seems to last as long as coal but burns hotter

hansungje: Indeed, you can see this if you track one certain particle. It will most likely switch between VRSG and FIRE a few times before disappearing.

vrsg infects fire while burning

manhong2112: Feel free to post a link and ask me to put this save down if you believe the idea is yours. But I do assure you I never saw anything VRSG powered before.

Author: We're talking about the efficiency of VRSG storing energy. If it was just for the contact area, it wouldn't last as long as COAL does. But since it burns as long and /all this time/ releases /more/ energy, the total energy output is more.

i had made a vrsg heater long long time age...
