    People don't to get that the point of regrigerant is not for flat out cooling capacity. Dump water on the hot item in question for that. The point is to cool BELOW AMBIENT in a semi-relistic way. So yeah the ambient heat and fan might cool faster for a given object, but it will never go BELOW ambient!

    the refrigerant is quite slow at cooling stuff down, would not recommend to a nuclear reactor

    @jacob2: Nah, it's just a hybrid refrigerator. It uses wall, AHeat & pressure to quickly cool stuff to room temperature. (Which also limits its ability to cool stuff below room temperature.) Along-side a refrigerant that does the rest.
