@ivel236 Previously I thought I would laugh if I saw virtual memory in TPT, but with this it now feels increasingly sensible... Also, with 1024 words per chunk, copying the whole thing in/out would take about half a second, which is pretty reasonable. I don't think it makes much sense to go beyond that, given that we have a ~250000 upper bound (and that isn't counting the quota taken up by the rest of the electronics!).
You could also do standard HDD stuff like raid1 to sacrafice capacity for speed. However I think I would probably die of laughter if i saw that on tpt...
It would be really cool to use all this storage capacity to store "assets" for a little adventure/rpg thing. If you broke up the 800ish KB into multiple "cylinders" like you said then you could bring access times down to an amazing.... 1-10 minutes!
@ivel236 That made my day xD @atomic2385 Uhh... thanks, I guess? xP It honestly didn't occur to me that I was using a "difficult" word when i wrote that.
I use delimiters to designate demarcarcations in my textfiles :)
i can wait for someone(or you) to make a new computer with all the new recent tech that has been created by you and others
Let me know something about this: ID:2206010
lol broke at 5672 but when i reload the thing it goes way more. still kool
now all we need is a writable phot storage and then combined with subframe we have the recipe for fully functional tpt advanced computers comparible to some of the early real computers
