    update 2! I have repeated the process of pouring lava over it over and over and it only ran away from it once, I think it's a coincidence. maybe I need to find something that gives it more pain?

    update! I poured lava over it and it...actually seemed to avoid it? not quickly but rather slowly, as if it felt pain (more so uncomfortableness) for the first time..and then committed suicide by wedging itself into the wall. it's obviously stupid and doesn't have great memory nor a brain. I'm thinking it's most likely a coincidence. help me with my test on if this soapworms actually sentient :)
