    @tornados: Some trees grow quite fast. There's a massive silver maple near me, and it's 50 years old (More or less) so a similar tree could grow like that in time for 2057. A lot of species reach maturity quicker than that.

    If you screwed up your planet enough for that to be the case, the shores of northern Canada would be great places to go swimming :3. There would be a problem with living tho, because tundra tends to melt into toxic methane swamps.
