These batteries are realistic in that they will take a charge, release it in a steady flow of power, and gradually run out of charge. They work better than elec/pipe and have the best size to power ratio I know of. Free to use (cred pls).

Thanks :) I just added an overload protection switch to the upper right battery, with a reset button. Stops charging when SPNG life hits 48. Of course they don't blow up when overcharged, but why waste perfecly good water particles XD

Actually, it was your sponge battery idea that inspired me to work on this.! :) I am tired of oversized junk that doesn't deliver enough current and pseudo-batteries that are really perpetual generators. Capacitors may be my next obsession. Anyhoo, I'm pretty happy with these. I was able to brew a pot of coffee using one of them.

Most batteries that featured there aren't realistic the way sponge batteries are, of course.

Heehee, I made similar stuff before (it's still published). I'm happy I'm not the only one who isn't satisfied with the more common battery designs. Me and a few others even had a capacitor contest some time ago! http://tpt.io/:21827
