    @NoVIcE The bouncing is because I think PHOT bounces when its target destination is on or next to a solid object. In this case, it takes several common multiples of GOO spacing and PHOT velocity to get it into that position.

    Looks like it. Technically its the light that skips the GOO, because its too fast, and it bouces back after 3-4 skipepd pixels because of the way it is programmed (no idea how, maybe some variable increases by some small value and after 3-4 build-ups it reaches a threshold that allows the photon to bounce back).
