Thorium (*Decayed Polo) will still generate heat but not melt or generate/react with neutrons. EDIT: Added a sample of neutronium.

    Well decayed polo shouldnt generate heat thats against Thermodynamics But now i got an idea to make something

    yes and IRL if it overheats you can simply build something bellow it that it goes into if it overheats and it instantly calms down.
