    I've been doing it a lot. You can get a script that will let you copy / paste between two windows that are open at once. Otherwise, you have to keep switching between two saves using one window. Either way, it can be a big help sometimes.

    @matera thanks, I may try that in the future. I've never tried using multiple tpt windows at once

    Not so bad. Painting tip: to keep different colored areas separated, make them from different elements. Then, with some copying to and from new windows, deleting parts and pasting them back into the main scene after adding deco . . . am I making sense? Templates.
