    cracker1000: or just switch to nothing display? Fire without flare nor glow only provides an effect for gases, which isn't relevant here.

    oh.Switch to fire view( press 4) and then in advanced settings turn off the speacial effects and glow effects for spark and stuff.Looks much cleaner this way.
