    solved it 10x faster then if the machine was 11x faster

    Mostly likely because the gravity mode is wrong. This only works in no gravity mode. There can be other reasons, but you might want to pm me for further diagnosis.

    The point is to let piston bots find paths, not about us finding the path. Or you can just put some life(seed), not even needing merc.

    or you can fill the thing with mercury and just spark it (if the walls don't conduct) and it's alot more fast ... ;)
