Another attempt at a deuterium-neutron reaction rocket engine, using no indestructible parts, produces thrust via neutrons and pressure. I have had no success making a working version that survives ambient heat

@Zuriel that's a good idea, however I still need points where the deut is outside of a pipe so it can expand and dilute

You can use PIPE to store "fuel" more safely

@Aidan_Fire hmm.. I should certainly experiment with it more

@Aidan_Fire There has to be gaps in the titanium for the pipes but they have to be very small gaps which means no room for more insulator >v<

Ambient heat works on the same grid as pressure, each grid square is 4x4 pixels, I think if more than half the pixels are insulator then heat will not transfer through, and if more than half the pixels are titanium pressure won't travel through

Maybe you need thicker titanium and thicker insulator :P

@ZillaPlayz I take advantage of how titanium blocks pressure, alligning it with the "pressure grid" (or whatever the game uses to calculate air) in such a way that the pipes are never exposed to the pressure of the engine. The reason the engine would explode is if the pipes break. You can experiment with it by going into the pressure view and placing air, you can see how it has a specific grid it follows, try placing titanium and seeing how it interacts to protect the pipes

@Aidan_Fire If I make the insulator too thick the titanium doesn't block the pressure anymore and I need that to keep the pipes from breaking
