The "Mike" shot of Operation Ivy, named "Mike" for Megaton. Ivy Mike was the first ever test of a thermonuclear bomb, and while initially weaponized, the complicated cryogenic weapon was quickly replaced after the success of Castle Bravo. Yield= 10.4MT.

    i have a save demonstrating actual fusion weapons. it is also very difficult to make a teller-ulam design nuclear bomb in tpt. srry i hate people calling deut bombs fusion too
