    First of all the edge is a loop so that is why the photon is looping, so he kind of just lied.

    the screen is literally too small to really be able to see how fast the photon is traveling after a few minutes

    @ItsNanda, it's only a tube with GPMP on and under it in which the gravity only works in the first part.
