This also works with CRMC as well, though it's much harder to see the difference.
There's a much easier way. Open the console and type !set tmp2 qrtz (x), replacing (x) with a number from 0 to 10. 0 is the darkest natural shade or QRTZ, while 10 is white. You can go lower than 0, but the game won't save or stamp it properly and will force it to 0 when you next load it.
