Yo, I've heard there's a new element called platinum, fusion can occur at 500 C within the material. it has the same melting point of titanium. will be vary useful.

I'm currently trying to figure out a way to make a reactor not dependent on uranium for heat, but fusion produces so little net heat that the going is very slow. And the entry point needs to be cool enough that fusion doesn't happen and that's another challenge to overcome. Maybe - probably - it's possible, but I'm not there yet.

Note: this is perhaps the second fully destructible fusion reactor (barring of course clne and void which are not strictly necessary for function, just to provide fuel and remove exhaust). The first (that I know of) was the Mk1 diffuse fusion reactor.
