It's pretty weak but basically the gun shoots a high speed singularity particle that explodes on contact.

  So I turned of deco and realized that the gun's already made of VOID...surely anything entering the barrel should just get absorbed?

  Line the barrel with VOID with ctype SNOW and tmp -1. The tmp makes it absorb anything EXCEPT the ctype.
