The allied invasion of France. After more than 4 years of German occupation, the tides have brought a formidable foe. But an advancement so great does not come without a cost. Around 2500 soldiers died during the attack.

  Everyone is serious about the victims of the Holocaust (namely, the Jewish, not universal), but when it comes to the Soviet Union, people say jokes. What are double standards? What kind of hypocrisy? Aren't those nations that have sacrificed their lives worthy of mourning? This is terrible, this is disgusting! I apologize for such a comment, but it's just inhumane!

  The Soviet Union made a serious contribution to the war. But there is not a single preservation mourning the victims of the Great Patriotic War. 27 million lives. More than 5 million Soviet people (Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians and others) were driven into hard labor in the Third Reich. 7,420,400 people were exterminated. ~ 19 million civilians killed by Nazi scum.
