  The FP, I have come to believe, needs to be shut down, because it's not what it should be in my opinion. It should showcase talent, but that isn't, as people keep saying, feasible. Therefore, as it cannot perform the ideal function, it may be better to shut it down.

  The FP in general, I don't like. It's not a good system to show appreciation to effort, being limited to 1.) only a set number of saves at a time, not accounting for if there is a larger number of deserving saves, or 2.) the poor representation given by the average voter, which is sadly someone age 9-12 who doesn't have much appreciation for things beyond gimmicks.

  I mean more of a standard. I'm not upset when my saves don't get FP, UNLESS there are other, objectively crappy saves that ARE getting FP and with fewer upvotes, because then that is just clearly not right. It's the standard that needs to be applied, without the "you're just mad" dismissal. When I don't get FP because FP is filled with good, cool saves that took effort, I say nothing.

  Oh, god. I just read what I wrote. I really apologize, I never meant to come off so harsh and nasty. I know it's not an excuse, but I've been really on edge recently. I think quarentine is finally starting to get to me. No matter, I just want to say sorry, there were better ways to phrase what I wrote and I didn't use them. I just kind of lost it, I suppose. I do hope we can continue the conversation.

  I did delete the problematic comments by one user on this save already. I know I've seen some users share this sentiment. The main problem with this save is the intent to cause controversy, and the fact it specifically shows several actual fp saves (some that are no longer there). Anyway I would not say I misrepresented what you said. My thing about "getting hate" was referring to the other user, not to what you said.

  You have misrepresented everything I said to diminish the value of my words. I do not appreciate that, even if done unintentionally. If the comments are the problem, feel free to delete them. I suggest not making a habit of labeling things as hate saves. This is a statement, coming from a perspective, and a valid and widely shared one at that. Don't label it as hate. Frustration, yes.

  To summarize, remember that moderators are volunteers, we are nearly all busy with full time jobs, and the game is developed slowly. No amount of complaints about the moderators will change this, or change the front page system. I'd love to change the front page system *eventually*, but I'm not going to change it right now because you are upset your save didn't get front page.

  As for why I removed this save, I did consider it to somewhat fall under hate save territory. It's obviously meant to be controversial. Moderators have wide discretion to deal with things. If this comment section further devolves, I will just disable the save.

  I gave a nicely worded response and still get hate :|. Anyway, you overestimate my ability to do anything to change the front page system. I can't actually change the formula without a bit of effort. Changing anything more complex than the formula (aka, adding a nominate button) requires a lot of effort, and I would have to get my TPT test server working again.
