    yeah, but you might also want another digit just to add a 1 to the front if the carry output is on

    No need for 2 digits , HEXADECIMAL (4 bit) have 16 numbers : 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,a,b,c,d,e,f

    7segment adder can normally show all variables of 4 bit adder...
