STAR and FROG make an almost infinite stick?strand?poll?barbershop spiral? I havent watched till the end but I am sure they will meet eventually :)

When the screen is almost full, they meet each other, but it is not a perfect alignment. Then one end will start overwriting another end's result.

Once there are multiple iterations on screen it starts to f**k with your eyes! trippy
