  Rocket engines doesn't burn when there are no Fuel Tanks,It is fired by a kerosene or other gases in order to burn and fly,also it needs an aerodynamic nose cone for atmospheric drag,making it more better,also,some other rockets uses hydrogen and oils,there are also plasma, and ion engines,it is mostly used in space for the 2nd stage to efficient
