When the life of SPNG is set to particular ranges of values it becomes white. Looking at the source code, SPNG determines its color from a value 15 times the life, & white SPNG has a life value which when multiplied by 15, overflows to a negative number.

    I tried using FIRW against sponge with -49 and +49 life and they are equally durable against it.

    The white sponge is far more durable than yellow sponge. It does not even burn. It can be used as armor.

    you need to make spng be closed, so water doesnt escape , also i did tried it doing !set life spng 1 and then !set life spng 15000 and it became white +1 nice discovery

    This can also be done by manually setting the life to a negative number
