    if i use wood the hydrogen wont burn fast enough to compress the fusion stage before the primary stage tears off the bomb

    when the primary stage is detonated it heats up then burns the hydrogen, then the hydrogen compress the fusion stage

    Ah, I see the problem. You made the walls separating the hydrogen and the fission chamber out of wood. I recommend changing the material to iron or titanium.

    Because before the fission fully happens (please hope that it never does irl lmao) the hydrogen combusts. I recommend fixing this problem if this save was meant to be precise.

    But deuterium alone isnt gonna do the trick, plus they dont put actual hydrogen gas in the H-Bombs they only put the ISOTOPES in (deuterium and tritium) so that when the bomb detonates the deuterium and tritium fuse together to create hydrogen (nuclear fusion) thus creating a very powerful explosion.
