    Firstly, it is quite clearly not "large-caliber", the particles of BCOL are small, and thus would be "small-caliber". Secondly, I wouldn't class the combustion of BCOL as a "chemical propellant". Rather, the particles of BCOL being ejected from the reaction chamber, are a result of the convection currents arising from the combustion. As such, it is not a "cannon".
