The newest rocket engine of GalactiX, capable of producing immense amounts of thrust with very high efficiency using the power of hydrogen fusion.
iwouldbuy engine rocket test combustion fusion galactix hygn thruster

tbh the engine is nice and if was recreate in real life would be great but like any project with hydrogen as fuel the only problem is : engine super flammable but still nice tho So +1

I believe that if you are able to keep the truster tip at a higher pressure (5-8) the thruster will survive a full burn much more often.

Okay after a bit more testing, the low pressure theory seems to work out. Put shld instead on insl on those last four px of insl, the crmc below it on the edges melt away from that area.

perhaps layering the crmc could help make sure that a short burst of heat from a stray photon wont melt/burn anything?

I believe i may have found the source of the crmc failure, at the very bottom of the engine, on the left side that bottom "strip" of crmc is breifly exposed to a negative pressure wave on startup, i think this, along with the 2.5c~ heat makes that particular bit prone to melting. will investigate.
  • if hydrogen level is below a certain level, it turns off for safety(it will explode if it runs without hydrogen)
  • did you run out of hydrogen?

it wont overheat for as long as its removed from the stand, and you have aimbent heat on, the only downside is a longer ignition time
