you can use the plus and minus keys in place of the scroll wheel -

Suggestions: Set pavg0 of virus to a very high number (e.g. 99999) so it won't infect everything. Avoid using ETRD, it is sometimes glitchy. Use FUSE/FSEP since it's only used to ignite the virus rather than to support combustion.
