Using H2 and O2 to make a rocket engine. Notice the 2 small igniters (CLNE+FIRE) just before the exhaust opening, and the "fan" type wall just after them, but before the opening. Theoretically the force of the buring of the H2 and O2 would expel...

Actually it does burn the fuel. In fact it burns the H2 and O2 together making steam (check the smoke particles and see that the indicator actually says WTRV, not SMKE). The flame clones are just meant to be asured that there is a constant heat source to burn the fuel. Otherwise the flame either burns back into the fuel tank and BOOOOOMMMM!!!! or the flame is blown out by the speed of the gas particles. My solution, make it go so fast it would normally extinguish itself (no burn back and explosion) while making sure there is a flame source (the clones with FIRE) so that the H2 and O2 is exposed to a flame so they will burn.

    A) Learn to draw straight lines B) cloning fire is kinda nooby. C) It doesn't actuall burn any of the fuel.

... the hot gasses, but the pressure released doesn't in TPT. Without the "fan" wall, the fire would burn right back into the fuel tanks. Also the density of the gas atoms on exit is too low for them too low for the speed they are exiting, so the flame extinguishes itself (need to have the igniters continue running with CLNE). Sadly this is the best I could get. If burning gases generated more pressure, then this would probably work. Also if the gases behaved realistically (O2 does NOT burn, but rather supports combustion in real life; and H2 does not burn when NOT in the presence of O2 in real life) then it would not result in the impossible situation of the gases burning back into their respective tanks. However this "impossible in real life" situation is exactly what happens in TPT. I think the H2 and O2 elements need to be tweeked to be more realistic (it may break a few saves, but I'm sure the makers of these saves can go back and correct their saves to fix the incompatability, which means their saves working had actually been based on an impossible in real life situation). But with what TPT has now, this is the best I can get for making a true rocket engine.
