So, in my quest to try to make a sightly more realistic fission reactor in TPT,iv'e discovered getting a "critical" reaction stable enough is... problematic. Oh well, enjoy the fatal dose of radiation.

    I recommend using Uranium Boyl can serve as a simulation of reactivity because uranium works on pressure (pressure means temperature) and boyl makes more pressure depandant on the temperature

    polo does a nice job of not blowing up the rods and pretty much does what plut does and doesnt decay into nothing, leaving behind full fuel rods that can be easily moved up and down
