Each photon represents a single organism. Over time, they will evolve to pass through as many good traits as possible. To reduce the mutation rate, type "!set tmp filt 0" in the console.

    I probably should have explained more. Each organism's genome is represented by the orbit it has. When a photon passes through a bad trait, it's absorbed. However, when one passes through a good trait, more photons are created travelling on similar orbits. That way, the new photons inherit the old photon's traits. The most successful species are the ones that travel through the most good traits.

    I get how evolution works, but I dont really get THIS. Cool anyways. plus 1
