The salt water gets distilled and is then mixed with GLOW to create DEUT. Afterwards, the DEUT gets cooled and is put into 1 of the 8 reactors. Here the nuclear reaction takes place when the reactor temperatures drop below 0 degrees celcius.

    @HapyMetal Insulated because otherwise the salt waterfall makes contact with the quartz mountain, and crystals will begin to grow.
