    to start it, contract the control plates to have only one pixel gap between the core and the plates, then put a ton of neutrons in the core and close the plates completely, then wait until neutrons build up (1-3 minutes do) DONT WAIT TOO LONG OR IF YOU DO THEN THE "energy collectors" WILL BREAK! slowly expand the control plates and you're done! theres no way of stopping it so good luck!
