The Endurance-class carrier is based on the hull of the Tentrum class but differently armed for its purpose. With a nice fighter aircraft arrangement she is a good fleet supporter.

  Important to remeber that projectile can be counted as moving in a straight line only in close range. At big distances orbital mechanics start affecting it severely

  you also need to count in maximum acceleration that your crew can sustain if you don't have gravity and anti-gravity generating technology

  Also Therodically at range when projectile take minutes to hit, even capital ship can dodge projectiles easily

  effective range for projectile generally mean range which the cross section of the vessel are large enough that the projectile hit the vessel however the vessel dodges

  @Deuteactormadness I didnt follow trough the whole convo but. If the large turrets arent laser or some near light projectile weapons. A fighter at range could dodge the projectile.

  @Umm in space your speed is dictated by orbital mechanics and power just doesn't make sense because power is speed x force

  In space, range is just a number, speed and power are important.

  even large turret mount can take out fighter when far away due to larger gun have longer range and longer ranges meaning less turret turning is needed so the so called "getting under the gun" do not exist in space as long as the fighter craft need time to get to the distance which turret turning make larger battery unable to shoot at fighter craft
