The Endurance-class carrier is based on the hull of the Tentrum class but differently armed for its purpose. With a nice fighter aircraft arrangement she is a good fleet supporter.

    Laminat09: A swarm of small fighters is harder to hit than 1 large ship. And they can hit from all sides at once as opposed to 1.

    Space fighters actually don't make sense,because a large spaceship has all the same degrees of freedom, but can have meaningful armor and armament. The only kind of sub-craft that would be useful is landing boats

    @Umm In my imagination there is an internal hangar with elevators for the fighters who take them to the external deck.
