After the failure of Mark I due to slow activation time, the second Mark was made. It's smaller, slightly cheaper, and its warp preparation time is instant. The only downsides are the defense's reliance on it & constant activation.

I'm using "warp" to mean "warps the nearby area to be unable to gain matter/mass".

Mechanically, the range is infinite. But it's unfair, OP, & generally bad for lore reasons, so infinite ranges are treated as bigger than the simulated area but not infinite.

For lore purposes, it only works in a certain range, but still large range.
