Thallium: get ~50 views/likes in under ~5 hours, i think i saw a save being on the third floor of fp being 1.5? hours old and having 21 views or something, i commented on it

micque: Historical reasons. Back when TPT was most active, significant amounts of high quality saves were being created, and we wanted to prioritize functional saves on fp. Perhaps there was fear among the mod team that fp being art would drive users away. Anyway, the userbase is much smaller now and I've always tried to tolerate art on fp as long as it isn't just a block of DMND (has an interesting thumbnail).
