These are seriously underrated, your decorative beam guns look awesome. +1 Downvotes on guns/bombs mostly come from people who think their guns/bombs are "stronger" even if your goal isn't to produce the most destructive one. Perhaps if you built them into a space ship or something like that people would understand they're meant to look good.
