    deleted phantom matter, put GOL near it then i was able to delete it

    It's not a glitch. It's kind-of a feature. It's part of why it's called phantom matter.

    If you put my weapon on the other side of the save it works perfectly. It's interesting seeing my own weapon wreck my own creation, but it makes sense.
