The funniest thing about this is that every square inch of the surface of the earth is imaged in great detail 24/7 by spy satellites and nobody cares, but somehow this stupid balloon is supposed to pose a threat to US national security. Not enough of a threat to shoot it down immediately by the way, because it landing on a US citizen's head would cause more trouble. Now the US has every right to shoot down unidentified stuff flying in its airspace but this is political theatre pure and simple. -
