    Turn on core, then turn on racs and watch what the control system does, and learn form that, if needed i can make a showcase on YT

    edit: it doesnt blow up but a mod that changes an element to copper causes it to explode

    You forgot to control the reactor, it spawns on RACS (reactor assisted control system) i am currently makeing RACS.2 (reactor automated control system), but for now you need to control it yourself, also the temp graph will show when it is too high as well as every light on the control board.
