a primary composed of: a 5x layered plut core, triggered by tnt, confined in rock with a ttan casing. a secondary composed of: a 5x layered plut 'sparkplug', with ttan casing, and NBLE fusion fuel, with a coal "foam" or matrix.

I also made a hybrid bomb that fuses the Noble, that then fuses hydrogen making even more noble and photons.

I made a HYGN nuke loosely based on your design, id:3038910

I didn't even know NBLE could fuse

You can speed up the primary somewhat by using FIRW to set it off. The material with the best heat conductivity and robustness to encase the HYGN in is CRMC, while you keep the pressure up with a TTAN outer layer. You can stack a few layers of HYGN to get more bang for the buck (not too many layers tho because it will create BHOL otherwise). I can post an ID to show you what I mean if you want me to (I don't want to spoil you fun building these).

I've had designs where it was hygn, but its hard to get around. most materials are either flammable, meltable, or indestructable, with just a few exceptions. id usually preheat the hygn, and have pressure from some kinda primary do the rest. like my 'puffball' whitch used either desl or oil as the primary

@Jerehmia Thankyou! i tried using hygn with a goo matrix and a deut sparkplug for speed but the primary would shoot molten ttan into the hygn before it would shoot neut into the deut, making it rather ineffecient at fusing, only really fusing a few px of hygn based on the leftover nble

This is the best realistic design I've seen yet +1, I'm sure this is able to fuse HYGN too with a few adaptions. First is the COAL, it will burn and ignite the HYGN before it's at the right temperature and pressure so you're better off with CRMC. If the primary still ignites the HYGN move it one or two pixels away from the secondary, and extend the sparkplug so the timing stays correct. Minor detail: the round part of the TTAN casing is losing a lot of pressure because it isn't thick enough.
